Outer Queen Charlotte ungulate control completed

The Trust has completed its second large landscape-scale ungulate control project in the Sounds - with 1,420 feral ungulates (330 deer, 958 goats, 108 pigs and 24 cattle) dispatched during the operation. In places, deer and goats were found at extremely high densities.

The operation was a collaborative effort, partnering up with a range of organisations including Endeavour Inlet Conservation Trust, DOC, Marlborough District Council, landowners, iwi, and local businesses.
